Ella was so excited to help plant the veggies this June. She had been enjoying watering the plants from her water table this spring. I finally got around to planting the veggies next to the shed, and the lettuce under the benches in our backyard. We had our first salad from the garden a couple nights ago, and it was tasty! Grandma E helped Ella serve all of us, and she liked being in control of the salad tongs. So cute!

Our first veggie ever grown in our yard was tomatoes, but this year we have a bean pole going. I can't wait to harvest and start enjoying them! I love how Ella is getting into helping. Isn't it fun?
