Ella's Last Day of Preschool June 2009

Ella and Teacher Kathy (also her teacher this year).

Ella (next to chair) in her preschool show. She totally hit the boy in the chair with her sticks for the song.
I flip-flopped between total embarrassment and resignation to having a feisty daughter.

yummy cupcakes...

Fin saw an opening at the table with the cookies, and he didn't hesitate taking it...

Wow, he looks like he already belongs there, and this photo is 3 months old now!
Where does the time go?!!

Love you all and we will keep the updates coming...

Maryland Zoo/Inner Harbor June 2009

We had a great visit with
Uncle Adam and Aunt Sarah
at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore.

Sarah making friends with the wildlife.
(it is a fake turtle for the "kiddos" to play on)

Fin has to follow his sister everywhere, including water features...

lily pads made for kids, that Renate got to go on too! Yipee!

Yeah Treeslide!!!

Turtle Ella!
The zoo has these cool turtle shells that you can spin
your kids in, well at least until they get sick...

Just kidding, she loved it!

Note the tongue...
I think this photo should be called,
"Monkey See"...

and this photo,
"Monkey Do"!

So worn out they fell asleep in the 10 minute ride to inner harbor!

It was a great day! We love spending time with Adam and Sarah. Hope for many more days as fun as that one.

Btw, good morning Sarah!

Ella's First Haircut-June 2009

OH NO!!!
A HAIRCUT MOMMY?!!!

This isn't so bad...

Yeah, I can totally sleep through this.
Maybe she will stop if I pretend...

...can't resist looking at myself in mirror!
Too Cute!

On our first trip back east Ella had her haircut by the woman who has been cutting my hair since I was very little. Ella was really anxious about the haircut, but when we got there she loved the chair. I don't know why, but she then started to pretend that she was asleep. Because I guess to a 3 yr old that means that the scissors won't cut anymore. She couldn't help but peek a couple times too!

Back to School...

means back to blogging! Things are finally starting to calm down here, and we have been on the west coast again for more than a week, so it is time to get back to it. I will be posting pictures from our fun summer adventures and from our upcoming adventures too. Looking forward to reliving the great moments from our summer!
