Unusual Weather...

Our own "Christmas story" bundle...
I was so determined to use the snowsuit for Ella,
but she could hardly bend at the waist!

Trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue.

Mommy got her with a snowball to the face. What a grin!

It is really a shame that she hated the snow so much.
(please note the sarcasm here, honestly we couldn't get her to come in!)

Mike looking handsome as ever!

Fin and I came in early to keep wrapping and decorating for the holidays. He seemed to enjoy his time out in the backpack, but we didn't let him go crazy yet. Fin isn't that stable yet and I was afraid he would get too snowy and wet to fight the cold he is fighting.

For those of you who are unable to see the photos well, just click on the photo and it will enlarge to a size where you can see everything. This goes for the previous posts as well. I have just been uploading the smaller sizes to save time. Hope this finds everyone well and warm!

Forgot to post work party and Halloween night photos...

Yummy!

Bryce the red dragon.

Ella, the fairy.

Ella and Rowan, the green dragon.

Rowan's dad, the knight.

Our band of trick or treaters.

Our kangaroo, Fin.

Without Bryce, the fearless leader, the 2 younger kids didn't understand knocking and trick or treating.

Sarah to the rescue!

And now we add a wizard?!! A night straight from the storybooks.

Ella pointing to her next target.

Now she has the knocking down!

Fly Ella FLY!!

Well after being a witch for our RMG and Mike's work halloween parties, Ella was done with the costume. Thank god for dressup options, so she became a fairy for Halloween trick or treating. We had a great time. We went with the Lindseys (Tanya, Bryce and Eric) and the Armstrongs (Sarah, Rowan, and dad-who was dressed like a knight).

It was a lot of fun and just the right distance for the little ones!

The Salerno visit...

We made it to NJ after an eventful night of snow driving. When we flew into Philly the snow was dumping down, so we made a quick stop to visit some of Mike's college buddies, that just happened to be on the way! It was fun, and nice to get out of the car for a while.

We got to see Christabella (11.5 months) and Hailey (3.5 yrs) and see how they have changed from late May. We stayed downstairs with Christie and Keith and all the kiddies. It was great to see Adam and Sarah, who made the trip from D.C. to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with the family. Gigi (Mike's grandmother) was there as well, and Aunt Loretta (Mike's godmother) was there for a quick visit too. We squeezed a lot of family into a short amount of time, but it was really worth it to see so many people.

The kids played well together, and Ella and Fin got to have some fun Grandparent time. Ella loved the attention of Uncle Adam and his guitar playing, and playing with Grandpa Mike and the wooden trains. I think Fin is in love with his big cousin, Hailey, and he loved practicing his walking!

Back to the Blogging!

After our month almost 2 month long hiatus, I am back to the posting. For those of you that I haven't spoken with since our return, the trip back east was wonderful. I will slowly be adding pictures from our adventures back there, although I must admit, I didn't take that many. Well at least not as many as normal. We were so busy visiting my mom that we just didn't get the camera out this time. That makes me sad, but I will just make sure it is a priority next time. Since it was my 10yr high school reunion, we got to see a lot of friends from the past, and it was a good time to be home.

Ok, here we go...
