Brackett's Landing

Notice the famous rusty anchor...

It was so green and pretty, it made me think of Ireland.

Ella and Daddy,
walking to the beach.

A view of the Olympic Peninsula

Train...Choo-choo!

Ferryboat docking

A rogue claw...

Fin along for the ride...

Timidly running towards the water...

Cautiously tapping her toes in the water...

Running quickly away from the water!

Bird in photo above.

Tiny crab in photo to right (in center)

Some weird and colorful blobby things that made Mike and I laugh nervously at what they might be...really they looked gross and yet so cool!

Ella puddle stomping, the Park ranger loved that Ella and another boy were happily squashing wildlife beneath their feet. Ah 2 yr olds and tide pools...

Under the Pier...

Picnic Time

She ate EVERYONE'S fruit!!!!

We went to Brackett's Landing almost a month ago now, to look at the sea creatures, take in a little fresh air and have some family time. We saw a TON of cool things, some transportation related, such as trains and ferries, and other alive like crabs and birds. We ended the outing with a picnic and some walking. A lovely afternoon!

What a great day for the beach. I'm so glad you guys are getting out and seeing the state. Are you still thinking about moving??? We've been talking about buying a house and staying here.
